What if it's really not that hard?

So here's the thing, I have been doing this thing now for about 9 weeks now and I haven't had too many struggles really.  To be perfectly  honest, so far it hasn't been that hard.  My sister Nancy who is at her goal weight at WW told me that for her it wasn't hard.  This has got me thinking, what if it's not?  What if you just need to put one foot in front of the other and do the program (I'm doing Weight Watchers) and get results?  I think that the bottom line is that if you're ready and you want it bad enough (and I do) it can be easy to lose weight.  So many people that have succeeded in this say the same thing, it's a simple formula.  Eat less and move more.  I present to you my jar with the pretty glass stones.  13 of them now :-)

You are SPOT ON with this. I feel the same way. It can be tough, but as long as you WANT IT and you STICK TO A PLAN/PROGRAM then...really...it isn't too hard. It's the flip-flopping that results in difficulty. I'm finding it easier THIS time than any other time...but I think it's because I reeeeeeeeeeeeeally want it...and need it.

I agree! It's such a head game. If you want it somehow you just do it. I think I have been held back in the past by thinking "it's just too hard" or "I just can't do it". When I changed the self talk to "I can do it" and "why not me?" it seems to be working!!

Hi Kim...how are you doing! Just wanted to stop by and let you know that Ben's hockey team won gold at the B Provincials we hosted in Hanna last week end! What a great way to end minor hockey for him...a champ!! I never did get my great shot of the zamboni flooding the ice though,,,maybe I will have to steal yours! Take care :)
